Services Manager

If you’re a Services Manager who values delivering properly without politics, this is worth a look.

You’ll lead a focused group of 10 on a $200M data centre project in Melbourne’s west. Your team will include a dedicated Commissioning Manager, QA, electrical and mechanical engineers and a strong support crew. The wider on-site team sits at around 30, giving you the resources to focus where it counts.

You’ll work closely with a Construction Manager who is hands-on, in the trenches with the team and leads by example. You’ll know where you stand, get clear direction when you need it and be trusted to manage your area of the project with autonomy.

The client is well informed, the project is well resourced, and expectations are high – but so is the level of trust given to you.

The business backs its people with a transparent, no-nonsense culture that rewards capability. High performers thrive because delivery is recognised, and politics are kept out.

Weekend work is avoided, and flexibility is offered when life needs attention. Whether picking up the kids or making an appointment, you’re trusted to manage your workload without unnecessary red tape.

You’ll work with Procore and Microsoft Projects and be supported by a team that delivers complex builds without overcomplicating things.

We’re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Ideally, you’ll have data centre delivery experience, but we’re also open to candidates from hospitals or similar technical environments. A background and a deep understanding of how services tie together on complex, large-scale construction projects are highly regarded.

Salary is $250k–$300k package, depending on experience.
