You will step into a hands-on leadership role overseeing external envelope works across several active projects.
The role combines practical roofing and cladding installation with coordination of subcontractors, carpenters and site teams to ensure projects progress smoothly.
The position works across several sites at once, typically coordinating up to four projects at different stages. Roughly two hours of the day is spent coordinating work, ordering materials and managing subcontractors. The remainder of the day is spent working on the tools alongside the crew.
You will be involved in metal roofing and sheet metal works including cladding, standing seam systems and folded sheet metal. The role also oversees transition flashings and coordination between different cladding systems such as brickwork, Hebel and render.
This builder focuses on delivering high-quality residential construction projects up to $45 million and values practical operators who understand how work actually gets delivered on site. The environment is team-oriented, structured and supportive, with clear systems and strong leadership in place.
To succeed in this role you will already be operating at leading hand level or above. You are comfortable supervising crews, coordinating trades and keeping work moving on site while still remaining hands-on with tools.
You bring strong experience in roofing, sheet metal or external cladding systems and have the confidence to manage people and solve problems across multiple projects.
Salary for this role is up to $130k plus super depending on experience. The position is paid hourly with overtime paid when worked. A company Hilux is provided for travel between sites.
