Contract Administrators ready for the next challenge should read on
You’ve done the groundwork. You’ve been tested on jobs where things move fast and the pressure’s real. You’ve handled services packages, worked alongside sharp operators and know how to keep the commercial side steady when everything else is moving.
This is a large-scale data project in Melbourne’s west, focused on the services and fit-out stage. The build’s already passed the $200 million mark and is heading toward $500 million. You’ll be on site with the team, not hidden away. The client’s involved, the pace is relentless, and the technical scope will keep you sharp.
I was on site yesterday and one thing stood out: the camaraderie. Everyone seemed happy and pulling in the same direction. There’s plenty of work in the pipeline, and the set-up is impressive. Food trucks roll in, there are simulators and plenty of ways to break up the day and keep things fresh.
The commercial team’s strong but needs someone who’s worked through tough jobs, stays calm under pressure and adds stability when things get busy. If you’ve worked on hospitals, data centres or other services-heavy builds, this will feel familiar.
This is a mid-level role reporting to a senior CA and PM. It’s a great step up in project size and technical complexity. Many have moved into senior roles here by doing good work, staying sharp and being reliable when it matters.
The company is a T2 builder with a T3 feel. So, whether you’re stepping down from the T1 ocean or up from the T3 pond, you’ll find the missing piece of your career here. The GM still has a personal touch; there are regular catch-ups, social outings and genuine flexibility when personal commitments come up. A progressive well-being policy backs it up.
You’ll need at least four years’ experience on large projects with a head contract plus a degree or diploma in Construction Management.
Salary package up to $170k including super.
