Electrical Services Coordinator / Engineer

Apply Now

If you’re in electrical services and feel like you’re ready for something bigger, this is the type of role that accelerates that step.

This position sits on the client side of a major data centre build in Melbourne’s west, working across HV and LV power systems, as well as SCADA integration. You’ll be part of a growing team delivering complex projects, with exposure to the full lifecycle from design through to commissioning.

You won’t be thrown in the deep end, but you won’t be sheltered either. You’ll be working alongside experienced Services Managers, supporting coordination, interfacing with subcontractors and consultants, and getting hands-on with how these projects actually come together.

What stands out here is the environment. The team is professional, approachable, and easy to deal with. There’s a level of trust and respect in how people work together, and you’re not dealing with layers of noise or unnecessary friction.

This isn’t a one-off project environment either. The business is delivering multiple data centre projects nationally, with a steady pipeline of work, so you’re stepping into an ongoing program rather than a single job.

You’ll be involved in coordination workshops, design reviews, and site delivery, while also getting exposure to modular construction methods, including off-site prefabrication, factory testing, and pre-commissioning before installation.

Time on site will see you working through installation, testing, and commissioning activities, building a real understanding of HV systems, switchgear, transformers, and how everything integrates on a live project.

This role suits someone with a couple of years under their belt who wants to step into more responsibility. You might be coming from a contractor, consultant, or services background, but you’re looking for more exposure, better projects, and a pathway forward.

You’ll need to be organised, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a site-based environment where things move quickly and expectations are clear.

The role is based in the western suburbs and offers a strong platform to develop within a business delivering large-scale, technically complex projects. Salary will reflect experience, typically in the $120k to $160k range + super and bonus.
