Electrical Services Manager

If you’ve been managing electrical services on complex projects and want a role where you actually own the outcome, this is worth a look.

This is a client-side position delivering electrical packages on large-scale data centre projects in Melbourne’s west. The focus is on HV and LV infrastructure, including SCADA systems, with responsibility spanning design interface, contractor management, installation, and commissioning.

You’ll be leading the coordination and delivery of electrical services, working closely with subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams to keep everything aligned across programme, quality, and safety.

What stands out here is the environment. The people are professional, straightforward, and easy to deal with. You’re working with a team that communicates clearly and focuses on getting the job done properly, without the usual friction that can slow projects down.

This is also a business with a national footprint and a steady pipeline of data centre projects. You’re not stepping into a single build, you’re stepping into a long-term program of work with continuity across multiple sites.

This isn’t just oversight. You’ll be directly involved in how the job is delivered, from reviewing design documentation and managing technical interfaces through to overseeing installation and driving commissioning activities on site.

A big part of the role is managing complexity. You’ll be working within a modular construction environment, coordinating off-site prefabrication, factory testing, and integrating these systems seamlessly into site works and commissioning programmes.

You’ll also be the point of contact for electrical services across the project, providing clear reporting to leadership, identifying risks early, and making sure issues are dealt with before they become problems.

This role suits someone with a strong background in electrical services delivery, with experience across major projects. You’ll be comfortable managing subcontractors, working through technical challenges, and operating in environments where safety and precision matter.

Data centre experience helps, but it’s not essential. What matters is your ability to manage electrical scope on complex builds and see it through to commissioning and handover.

The role is site-based in the western suburbs, with a salary package up to $220k + bonus, depending on experience.
