HSE Advisor

You’re at your best when you’re on site, visible, practical, and involved in the real work. Not buried in paperwork, not policing from the sidelines, but working alongside supervisors and crews to keep complex, high-risk construction moving safely.

This is a major infrastructure upgrade valued at around $100m, combining heavy civil works, piling, large concrete pours, pavements, and construction in a live operating environment. The scope is technically demanding.

As the HSE Advisor, you’ll be embedded on site, supporting delivery teams through planning and execution. The focus is on building strong safety behaviours, getting ahead of risk, and making sure systems and controls work in practice, not just on paper. You’ll be facilitating risk assessments, reviewing and improving SWMS, delivering toolbox talks and inductions, supporting incident investigations, and contributing to audits and continuous improvement.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the likelihood of ongoing work as the broader project scope continues to unfold. To be considered, you will need experience as an advisor on large-scale construction or civil projects and a Certificate IV in WHS/OHS or higher.

You’ll be joining a national D&C company, delivering end-to-end solutions across planning, design, manufacturing, project management, and construction. The business has a strong track record in complex infrastructure and construction projects, ISO-accredited HSEQ systems and a practical, delivery-focused approach to safety, quality, and sustainability.

The role is based in South Gippsland and comes with a package up to $150k + super.
