Starting out your career as a junior CA, looking for a director to mentor you all the way through to PM?
You will join a growing commercial builder that has recently secured an $8m multi-level office project in South Melbourne. As a junior CA, you will work alongside the director and site team to support delivery from early procurement through to completion.
The business currently has multiple projects underway, including a muti story office building, with further work secured and additional projects moving into construction soon. The the business delivers projects up to $10 million across multiple sectors, including commercial new builds, multi-res and refurb.
The director previously operated at executive level within a well-known commercial construction company and has delivered projects up to $60m. You will work closely with him and gain exposure to how projects are procured, managed, and delivered within a growing builder.
You will assist with subcontractor procurement, cost tracking, variations, documentation, and coordination with the site team throughout the build.
You will ideally have around one year of experience working for a commercial builder and some exposure to contract administration tasks on site-based projects. Familiarity with systems such as Procore, Hammertech, or Aconex will be beneficial, but not essential.
The position offers the opportunity to develop quickly within a business that is growing and consistently securing work across Melbourne. Salary will depend on experience but is expected to sit around $80k to $100k plus super.
