This role suits someone who enjoys being across the detail but doesn’t want to be boxed into a single lane. You’ll be joining a growing modular construction business delivering architecturally driven buildings, operating with the systems and structure of a T2 organisation while retaining the agility of an entrepreneurial subcontractor.
Based out of the new Brunswick head office, your time will be split between the office and the Tullamarine manufacturing facility. That means genuine exposure to how projects are designed, built and delivered, not just managed from a distance.
The role would suit a CA or PC with some commercial experience who’s looking for something a little different. Someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes and being close to the action, particularly within the modular space.
Day to day, you’ll coordinate project handovers and client documentation, manage the defects liability period between subcontractors and clients and play a key role in after-sales support. There’s also scope to improve processes, with the backing to actually implement change.
You’ll act as a key link between Design Managers, Site Managers, the factory team and the General Manager. Some days that will involve QA documentation or safety processes. Other days it’s being a reliable spare set of hands when issues pop up across projects.
A degree in construction or a related discipline is a must, along with experience gained in a head contractor, construction business or well-established subcontractor operating in a similar local environment. You’ll be exposed to projects delivered in partnership with recognised T1 builders, giving you exposure to large-scale delivery environments and helping build the next stage of your career.
The package is up to $120k, depending on experience.
