Civil has had a tough year. Not with this business, they have grown significantly!
Set up your 2026 in a growing company's utilities division.
You know the utilities space and how networks are built, maintained and upgraded. Joint holes, cable hauling, power upgrades, asset relocation, trial holes, contaminated spoil, kiosk works and public lighting civils aren’t new to you. That knowledge will set you up for a smooth transition into a team that values practical experience over buzzwords.
You’ll manage well-planned projects ranging from $50k to $2m. The work covers everything from handover to completion: keeping the scope tight, driving the program, managing costs, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring safety and quality remain sharp. You’ll work closely with supervisors, engineers and suppliers, keeping delivery moving while building strong relationships with clients along the way.
Based in Preston and offering $145k plus super and a car, the culture is forward-thinking and team-driven. Leaders are approachable and committed to mentoring, and they prove it with quarterly activities and pub lunches to keep everyone connected outside of work. If you're looking for a role where you’re supported without being micromanaged, this could be the right fit.
To be considered, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and or a degree or diploma in Construction Management, along with 1-2 years’ experience as a Project Manager in utilities or civils.
