This role suits a Site Manager who enjoys being on site full-time and taking ownership of a well-run project. You’ll be based in Hawthorn on a $2.5m commercial restoration where finish, sequencing and site control genuinely matter.
To be considered, you must have experience delivering high-end residential or tier 3 commercial projects as the lead Site Manager. This is not a step-up role. You’ll need to be confident owning OHS compliance, short-term programming, quality control and the day-to-day running of site from day one.
The business is a well-established commercial builder known for restoration-style projects and carefully managed programs. Projects typically sit between $1–3m and run for four to eight months, giving you variety, momentum and none of the drag that comes with multi-year builds. The culture is practical and supportive, led by a director who stays close to the work and values clear communication, good systems and developing people over time.
You’ll be supported by a PM and CA team floating across two to three projects, but the site is very much yours to run. Weekend work is not standard but may be required occasionally due to project demands. With similar projects already secured and more in the pipeline, this role offers genuine scope to grow as the business continues to expand.
Salary is $120k + super, with stable work and projects that reward attention to detail.
