This position involves estimating commercial projects under $2m as part of a growing small works division. Reporting to the Construction Manager, there’s plenty of autonomy to own your pricing while working closely with a supportive, experienced team. Trust and independence are central to the role, with clear communication and accurate, competitive tenders expected.
The base is on the Mornington Peninsula, with the option to work from the city office when it makes sense. Coastal charm, good schools, and the bay and wineries nearby make it an ideal location if the city grind has lost its shine, but you still want exposure to interesting, well-run commercial projects.

The Director brings character and care to the business, while the General Manager, a family man with a commercial background, sets the tone for a grounded, good-humoured culture. The new Peninsula division is growing steadily, so it’s a great time to come on board.
Candidates will need 1-2 years estimating experience on similar commercial projects for a head contractor or builder. Accuracy, organisation, and confidence in speaking with trades are key. The ability to work independently, collaborate when needed, and produce clean, competitive tenders for sub-$2m jobs will set you up for success.
A sense of balance and momentum comes standard. The package is up to $150k, including super, depending on experience. Peninsula-first with the flexibility to work from the city office when needed.
