Looking for a Finance and Business Manager role where you’re trusted to steer the numbers and influence the business side of how a growing group operates? Based at the head office in Hawthorn, this position puts you close to senior leadership and gives you ownership over reporting, systems and day-to-day operations. The package is $150k + super. The culture is a mix of grounded, approachable leaders and a quirky, fun team who enjoy working hard without taking themselves too seriously.

The group comprises several divisions, and as the business continues to expand, you’ll play a key role in bringing the financial and operational pieces together. That means improving processes, supporting smarter decision-making and helping shape the next phase of growth. There’s a pathway here for someone who wants to grow with the group.

You’ll be across AP, AR, payroll and reconciliations, manage monthly reporting and cashflow and help keep the framework consistent across multiple business units. A big part of the role is helping implement new systems, driving cost savings and contributing to the shift toward more automated, tech-enabled finance processes, including early AI-based improvements. Experience with Procore and/or Premier is strongly regarded.

To be considered, you’ll need an accounting degree and experience in a similar finance role within construction or a project-based environment. You’ll be strong on transactional tasks, Excel and navigating multi-entity reporting with a practical, forward-thinking mindset.
