You’ll take a former industrial site and turn it into something people are proud to live in and visit. Think architect-designed apartments, townhouses, and activated commercial spaces. It’s a big, busy $50m site that moves fast – so your project management experience will be tested. The challenge is real, but it’s a fun one, backed by an experienced team who know how to deliver under pressure.
You’ll be joining a relatively new division of this business, with plenty of opportunity ahead as more projects kick off. You’ll be trusted to run the show day to day – sequencing works, protecting margin, and keeping quality where it should be. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with people who back you, with leaders who stay close and remove roadblocks.
This builder is known for smart delivery and clean execution across residential, commercial, and education. Culture is positive and grown-up. People stick around because the work is considered, the standard is high, and there’s room to move. Social catch ups are regular without being forced.
You’re across procurement, subcontractor performance, and client reporting. You can read a façade detail, spot risk early, and keep a program honest. You’re comfortable mentoring a CA and Site team, and you know when to pick up the phone to keep relationships smooth.
To be considered, you’ll need to have delivered large-scale multi-residential, commercial, townhouse, or similar projects as a Project Manager for a head contractor.
Salary is up to $230k including super. The project is based in Footscray, right in the thick of the inner west.
