Safety Advisor

Here’s one you don’t see every day. A safety advisor role on the client side with no weekend work, big construction projects, and a bright future.

This is a business you want to get into early. They’re firmly established in the data centre space, a booming sector, with strong pipelines and a presence across multiple states and countries. If you're thinking long-term, the career pathways here are real nationally and internationally.

You’ll be on-site in Melbourne’s west, working across a data centre project worth up to $100 million. It’s complex, fast-paced and high-energy with hundreds of workers, multiple contractors, and plenty to keep you sharp.

You’ll be involved in everything from site audits, inspections, and contractor coordination to inductions, incident follow-ups, and EHS reporting. You’ll spend your time on-site, not behind a desk. You will be walking the job, building relationships, and helping create a culture where safety isn’t just paperwork. It’s fast-paced and varied, and there’s plenty to get involved in.

The salary for this role is up to $140k plus super, plus an achievable bonus scheme. Monday - Friday, no weekends, regular hours.

You’ll report to an experienced national safety lead. Someone who’s worked both sides of the fence, takes a hands-off approach, and will be a strong mentor and sounding board.

You’ll get rare exposure to both construction and operational risk. Not siloed into one or the other. The experience you gain here will open doors.

No data centre experience needed. But you’ll need to have worked in large-scale construction or engineering environments, with a solid understanding of WHS legislation and a Cert IV in OHS/WHS or higher. You'll have the right foundation if you operate in high-risk sectors like rail, energy, civils, or large-scale services-heavy builds.

Due to site requirements, only Australian citizens can be considered for this role.
