On this project, you'll report to the CM, who has a hands-on approach without micro-managing, is approachable, and focused on keeping things practical. You will also have the support of a very experienced CA. They are both experts in their field. As an experienced SM on similar projects, you will possess all the necessary technical and people skills to deliver the project successfully.
Support comes from a developer-builder that keeps the whole process under one roof. Funding, design, and delivery are integrated, and most key trades and procurement are handled in-house, providing genuine support rather than relying on external parties. The nearby head office is an open-plan, relaxed space, and the culture is family-oriented, flexible, and built on trust. Staff receive 10 wellness days a year, along with the type of flexibility that makes life easier to manage around work.
Staff here describe the environment as supportive and straightforward. They feel heard rather than micromanaged and value the balance between autonomy and backing. The salary is $150-200k depending on experience, and hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays towards the end of the project.
